The Dr. Harry Reid Cox scholarship, awarded annually, funds internships for undergraduate students pursuing research opportunities in mineralogy/gemmology.
Undergraduate students awarded this internship will work at either the Geological Survey of Canada in Ottawa or the Canadian Museum of Nature in Aylmer (CMN research facilities). These internships run for 15 weeks throughout the Spring and Summer and provide invaluable training and experience in Earth Sciences.
