Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

Faculty, staff, and students in the Department of Earth Sciences are committed to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in our programs. We recognize and celebrate the diversity and lived experiences of our students. We aspire for our classrooms and research groups to be supportive and affirming spaces for all people regardless of their race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, culture, religion, and socioeconomic status. We are committed to listening and learning how to best support our diverse student population.

Now that online teaching is everywhere and students need support to access technology resources, Carleton University offers financial aid for students who need this assistance as well as single workplaces for student use on campus. If you have any questions or need the financial aid, please email covidinfoatcarleton [dot] ca.
