National Public Radio's 'The World' magazine, publishes on the competition for the "Golden Spike"

Here is a link to a radio piece published on National Public Radio’s flagship news Magazine “The World”, that also includes a written summary. It highlights the intense competition underway amongst candidate sites to be chosen as the "Golden Spike" for the proposed Anthropocene Epoch.

Crawford Lake, shown in the photo of Tim Patterson (Carleton U) and Mike Pisaric (Brock U) collecting a core, is a leading candidate for the honor, and "Team Crawford" will be coring the lake again the week of April 10th to collect additional data in support of their bid.
