Under of the supervision of Dr. James Mungall, Carleton University Earth Science students in ERTH 4303 participated in the Wikipedia Student Program during the Spring of 2020.
These students were a part of a cohort of 409 courses whose 7464 students contributed 5.27 million words to Wikipedia. This was an incredible feat under any circumstances and even more so with the current global health crisis.
During the term the Earth Science students:
- Added 19.9K words to Wikipedia
- Edited 42 articles
- Created 1 new entry
- Added 207 references
- Received about 890K page views
