Simon Gagné and a colleague from Kinross will be visiting the Department of Earth Sciences at Carleton University November 20 at 12:00-1:00 pm. Kinross has four gold mining operations in the US, one mine in Brazil, Chile, and Mauritania, and is actively exploring in Ontario. Simon will be discussing geoscience career paths and describe some of the summer work opportunities available through Kinross. This is a great chance for undergraduate and post-graduate students to learn about the minerals industry from practising geoscience professionals.
