Welcome to the Department of Earth Sciences at Carleton University.
We would like to extend an invitation to all our First Year Earth Science students to join us on Academic Orientation Day September 6th, 2022.
Academic Orientation Day will be an all-day event that is finally back to in-person this Fall!! The full day's schedule can be found on the Student Experience Office or in the following poster- Faculty of Science Academic Orientation Day schedule
The Break down for the day is as follows (more details can be found in the poster above):
Tuesday September 6th, 2022
9:30am- T-Shirt Distribution
10:30am- Student Department and Group introductions
11:30am- Travel time to the various Science Departments
11:45-12:45pm- Earth Sciences orientation presentation
1:00pm- Faculty BBQ in Alumni Park
2:00pm- Expo Carleton in the Field House
2:00-6:00pm- Day in the Park (SciFrosh Participants)
