Skyler Mallozzi awarded scholarship from the KEGS Foundation

 

On 12 October 2016, at the KEGS (Canadian Exploration Geophysical Society) Ottawa monthly meeting, Ms. Luise Sander, representing the KEGS Foundation, presented  a 2016 KEGS scholarship to Skyler Mallozzi. Skyler is a 4th year undergraduate student registered in the geophysics concentration of the Dept. of Earth Sciences at Carleton. Skyler is currently doing a B.Sc.Hon. project on determining the near-subsurface exploration potential of the Horizontal Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) method in the Orleans area, in collaboration with the Geological Survey of Canada. Skyler is planning to join Dr. Samson’s research group in May 2017 to do a M.Sc. degree on characterizing lava tubes using electromagnetic induction sounding.
