Dr. Richard Ernst featured on Carleton homepage

On Friday, November 27th, Scientist-in-Residence Dr. Richard Ernst took over the Carleton University homepage (above). This image is linked to a long and fantastic article, entitled "Riveted by Rocks". The article outlines his career: fieldwork, research, book and his position at Carleton. The author goes on to explain how Dr. Ernst's significant contributions to Large Igneous Provinces (LIPs) research have made Carleton a world leader in this field.

The article includes group photos of Dr. Ernst with his students and also interviews two of his Ph.D. students, Sarah Davey and Chris Rogers. It includes information on Sarah's recent fieldwork in Finland, where she gathered a large volume of samples that we are anxiously waiting to receive! The article concludes with a fantastic quote from Chris Rogers on his future career aspirations.
